City of Nottingham Sports Awards 2011

The City of Nottingham Sports Awards 2011 took place at the Council House on Thursday 24 November 2011. BBC 5 Live sports presenter, Darren Fletcher was Master of Ceremony at the glittering event to celebrate the outstanding achievements of sportspeople across the City of Nottingham. In the disability section of the awards, the winners were:



Junior Disabled Sportsperson of the Year 2011 Hannah Booth Nottingham Powerchair Football Club		Disabled Sportsperson of the Year 2011 Thomas Green University of Nottingham

Award presented by Tim Reddish OBE, Chairman of Paralympic GB		Award presented by Justin Walker National Apprentice Manager SR Education

Oak Field School and Sports College in Bilborough picked up the award for Most Physically Active School.
