Invacare World Team Cup 2009
A highly successful week
The Invacare World Team Cup 2009 held in the City of Nottingham, Great Britain was a smash hit all round.

Great Britain is known for its notoriously volotile weather and the Invacare World Team Cup was not spared in anyway. Nevertheless, the tournament held its own as the citizens of Nottingham mingled with international guests to watch over 250 athletes from 33 nations battle it out against each other on the courts.
Despite the steriotypical weather of torrential rain then blazing sun only to rain again, The five categories - Men's World Group 1, Men's World Group 2, Women's, Quad and Juniors, nevertheless presented five new winners and medalists.

Invacare present on and off court
As the games were played out to enthusiastic fans throughout the week, Invacare were involved in events, both on and off court.
The company hosted various activities for clients and customers alike, including a symposium entitled ‘Integration and Sports' hosted by IWTA President and Chairman of the Symposium, Martin McElhatton. Held at the East Midlands Conference Centre of the Nottingham University, the event was full with over 120 attendees. The range of speakers was wide and varied with sportsmen as well as sports doctors, trainers and authors. It was an afternoon full of information and discussion of past, present and most importantly the future.
Highlight during the symposium was the accounts by sportsmen Ade Adepitan, Rainer Küschall and Jayant Mistry, who gave the audience a slight taste of their carreers, challenges, goals and achievements.
The 2010 Invacare World Team Cup will take place in Turkey.
