Nottingham Blazers players Bernadette O’Driscoll and Owen Kilburn joined almost 100 elite disabled athletes who descended upon Glasgow to compete in the Scottish leg of the 4 Nations Disability Badminton Championships, played from 19th to 21st February 2010 at the Scotstoun International Sports Arena

It was double gold for Bernadette (pictured below), firstly in the ladies singles class 1 final against Laura-Lee Jenkins (Ireland) in a nail biting final game to win 21-9, 24-22. Then teaming up with mixed doubles partner David Follett (England) they caused one of the surprise results of the tournament beating reigning mixed doubles champions Laura-Lee Jenkins and partner Gobi Ranganthan 21-18, 21-19
