About Us

sport-on-wheels.com was born of an idea by Andy Zadora-Chrzastowski in 1998 specialising in new media and digital imaging for disability sport. Andy is a medically retired photo-journalist, he has Multiple Sclerosis and is a wheelchair user.

sport-on-wheels.com is operated on a charitable non-profit basis, totally reliant on the goodwill of our corporate partners and sponsors who provide both financial and technical assistance. Without their valued help, this web site would not exist. If your company would like to become involved in promoting disability sport, please contact us.

Today, sport-on-wheels.com operates from Nottingham in the United Kingdom. Andy has travelled extensively throughout Central and Eastern Europe and to the USA providing digital images from the Invacare World Team Cup (The Davis and Fed Cups of wheelchair tennis) international wheelchair and deaf tennis tournaments including the Belgium, French, Spanish, Polish, British Open Wheelchair Tennis Championships and the British Open Deaf Tennis Championships.

sport-on-wheels.com continues to flourish month on month. Throughout 2010, we will be expanding our website to include most other disability sports as we head towards London 2012 Paralympic Games. If you would like us to feature your club / sport, please contact us here, We actively support the Nottingham Blazers Wheelchair Badminton Club.
